NEHA is pleased to share the following two (2) Research Studies being conducted by some of our Corporate and Non-Profit Partners.  NEHA will continue to share information about studies in the area of bleeding disorders that are seeking individual participants.  NEHA will not share information on Marketing Studies through this site.   NEHA is not involved in the conduct of these studies in any way, and does not endorse, sponsor or recommend one study over another.  Participation in these studies is an individual decision made by the consumer and their family.  Interested individuals are encouraged to seek additional information by contacting the appropriate organization.

Do you have Hemophilia A or B?

Are you a male 21 or older?

Are you willing to answer questionnaires and be interviewed?You may be eligible to participate in a research study about socialization (relationships and function in society and community) and quality of life of persons with congenital bleeding disorders (PWCBD). The purpose of the study is to learn how hemophilia affects health, school/work, relationships and quality of life in order to improve comprehensive health care. The study involves 2 clinic visits, brief physical exam, questionnaires and an interview. You will be asked if you are currently in a relationship. Thereis a $75 compensation for participation in the study. This study is sponsored by the Hematology Division, Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute and by a grant from the National Hemophilia Foundation.   BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S HOSPITAL A Teaching Affiliate of Harvard Medical School
