This will be given by Shevta Gupta, MD, and will also include first-hand experience from a patient.\n\n\n\n\nSaturday, March 16 (breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided). \n\n8 AM: Registration & Breakfast\n9 AM: Programming Begins \n6 PM: Dinner & Family Activity featuring arcade games and a hypnotist. \n\n\nSunday, March 17 (breakfast will be provided).\n\n8 AM: Breakfast\n9 AM: Programming Begins\n11:30 AM: Consumer Medical Symposium Ends\n\n\n\nA full agenda will be shared with registered attendees before the event begins.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”18px”][vc_column_text]\nProgramming Overview\n\nChildcare is available for infants to age 3.\nChildren ages 4-12 will enjoy hands-on activities, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, games, bleeding disorders education.\nTeens ages 13-18 will participate in creative, educational and engaging programming and will take a field trip nearby to Sky Venture for an incredible indoor skydiving experience.\nAdults will have their own educational sessions all-day Saturday and Sunday morning, including keynote presentations, breakout sessions, and roundtable discussions.\n\nSessions will be led by medical providers from Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs) in our region, including Boston Hemophilia Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock and UMass; along with advocacy professionals, and other dynamic speakers.\nInformation will be presented about hemophilia A, hemophilia B, VWD, and other rare bleeding disorders.
