DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\nWe hosted our annual Newly Diagnosed Families Retreat from Friday, October 14 to Sunday, October 16 at the Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center at Attitash in Bartlett, NH.\nThis event was created to bring families together in a relaxed, kid-friendly, setting to ease the anxiety surrounding a bleeding disorder diagnosis through education and targeted activities. It also aims to offer peer support from other families in similar situations. The retreat is intended for families with kids ages 10 and under who have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder.\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_column_text]\nWe are excited to host our annual Newly Diagnosed Families Retreat from Friday, October 14 to Sunday, October 16 at the Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center at Attitash in Bartlett, NH.\nThis event was created to bring families together in a relaxed, kid-friendly, setting to ease the anxiety surrounding a bleeding disorder diagnosis through education and targeted activities. The retreat is intended for families with kids ages 10 and under who have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder.\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”18px”][vc_column_text]\nProgram Overview \n\nFriday: Families should arrive at 6 PM to check into their hotel rooms. \n\nDinner will be served after check-in. \n\n\nSaturday: Programing will be held on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM at Sherman Farm in Center Conway, NH under a large tent.\n\nChildcare and youth programming will be provided while adults attend educational sessions.\nDinner will be provided upon returning to the hotel on Saturday evening.\nThis will be followed by an activity for the entire family.\n\n\nSunday: Programing for Sunday morning will be announced soon.\n\nThe retreat will conclude at 11 AM on Sunday.\n\n\nA full agenda will be shared with registered attendees.\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”18px”][vc_column_text]\nTravel and Accommodations \n\nEach family will be provided a hotel room for both Friday and Saturday night.\nThere is free parking at the hotel for all attendees.\nFamilies will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Sherman Farm on Saturday from the hotel. The drive is approximately 30 minutes (20 miles) in each direction.\nThere is free parking at Sherman Farm.\nAll NEHA 2022 members are eligible for travel assistance. If you traveled more than 100 miles round trip to Bartlett, NH for this event, we can help offset your costs with our $100 for 100 miles program.
