SUMMARY:Wheels for the World Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday, August 1, we partnered with Save One Life to host Wheels for the World NEHA Day! Nearly 50 riders joined us on the East Bay Bike Path ( https://riparks.com/Locations/LocationEastBay.html ) for a socially distant 30-mile bike ride to raise funds for Save One Life and NEHA’s Emergency Assistance Program. Following the ride, everyone enjoyed celebratory drinks at the new Narragansett Brewery in Providence. \n \nAbout Wheels for the World \nNEHA has proudly been a sponsor of Save One Life’s Wheels for the World since its inception. The original event was to support Barry Haarde who inspired individuals with and without bleeding disorders when he cycled across the country 6 times and raised over $250,000 for Save One Life. Barry passed away suddenly in 2018 and this annual event recognizes Barry’s contribution to the bleeding disorder community and encourages healthy and active living.\n
