This event focuses on two key goals: increasing and enhancing self-infusion skills, and building connections within our community. NEHA’s Board of Directors, Camp Medical Team, and staff came to this decision after carefully reviewing data and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Camp Association (ACA), and Association of Camp Nursing (ACN). These changes include non-pharmaceutical interventions like mask requirements, social distancing, and using a “pod” model instead of color groups. Self-infusion classes are taught by experts. This relaxed environment helps campers learn how to self-infuse for the first time.\nTeens ages 16-17 are invited to apply as junior counselors.\nYoung adults ages 18+ are encouraged to apply as counselors.\nAdults will remain with their children and rotate through all activities together.
