Here, patients learned about HEMGENIX, a long-term treatment option for patients with hemophilia B.\nAttendees were treated to a delicious three-course meal while also receiving resources on how to treat hemophilia B.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_column_text]\nOn Thursday, October 10 at 6 PM, we are hosting an educational dinner with CSL Behring at ZINC New Haven ( https://zincnewhaven.com/ ) in New Haven, CT. Here, patients will learn about HEMGENIX, a long-term treatment option for patients with hemophilia B.\nAttendees will be treated to dinner, receive resources on how to treat hemophilia B from Kim Schafer RN-C, MSN, FNP, and have a chance to ask questions in this relaxed environment. Kim is a family nurse practitioner at the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center in the University of California, Davis Health System. She specializes in caring for children and adults with hemophilia or other bleeding and clotting disorders. She is also actively involved in clinical trials for improving the clinical management of bleeding and clotting disorders, including trials of factor VIII and factor IX clotting factors, new generation clotting factors, and gene therapy in hemophilia.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”18px”][vc_column_text]\nAgenda\n\n6:00 PM: Arrive and check-in.\n\nPark at the Crown Street Garage (213 Crown Street, New Haven, CT 06510). This is located directly behind ZINC. Please tell the attendant that ZINC will be validating parking. Bring the ticket to dinner to have it validated.\nWhen you enter ZINC New Haven, tell the hostess you are with NEHA. They will direct you to the Private Dining Room.\n\n\n6:30 PM: Dinner is served.
