Here, patients will learn about HEMGENIX, a long-term treatment option for patients with hemophilia B.\nAttendees will be treated to dinner, receive resources on how to treat hemophilia B from Kim Schafer RN-C, MSN, FNP, and have a chance to ask questions in this relaxed environment. Kim is a family nurse practitioner at the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center in the University of California, Davis Health System. She specializes in caring for children and adults with hemophilia or other bleeding and clotting disorders. She is also actively involved in clinical trials for improving the clinical management of bleeding and clotting disorders, including trials of factor VIII and factor IX clotting factors, new generation clotting factors, and gene therapy in hemophilia.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”18px”][vc_column_text]\nAgenda\n\n6:00 PM: Arrive and check-in.\n\nPark at the Crown Street Garage (213 Crown Street, New Haven, CT 06510).
