NEHA Board Advisory Council Meeting

Many community members have ideas and feedback to share throughout the year regarding programs, events, fundraisers, and more. But with the exception of post-event surveys and needs assessments, there was no formal way to share them. The NEHA Board Advisory Council was created as part of the Board of Director’s five-year strategic plan to help address this problem.

The Board Advisory Council will allow community members to express feedback and discuss their ideas on a variety of topics. This information will then be discussed amongst the Board and presented to the NEHA Staff.

The Advisory Council’s first meeting will be held on Thursday, December 2 at 7 PM. All community members over the age of 13 are invited to attend: whether you have a piece of feedback to offer or want to weigh in on the discussion. Our goal is for this group to meet two times per year to share their feedback and to help us make suggestions to improve our programs, events, fundraisers, and the organization.
