On Sunday, October 22, we are hosting a Paint & Sip at NEHA’s Northern New England Office in Brewer, Maine for people who identify as female (ages 18+).

The goal of this event is to help women in our community connect with one another while enjoying lunch, an educational presentation and a fun paint and sip activity.

Agenda Overview

• 1:00 PM: Arrival time. Registration begins at the NEHA Northern New England Office (45 Robertson Blvd, Suite 5, Brewer, ME. 04412).
  • Free parking is available.
• 1:30 PM: Lunch is served.
  • Menu details will be provided to all registered attendees.
• 2:00 PM: Short educational presentation begins. The presentation will be: Women and girls can and do have hemophilia. Women with hemophilia B don’t just face unique bleeding challenges—getting the right diagnosis and treatment can be an uphill battle. This program will help all community members advocate for girls and women who have a bleeding disorder, understand the obstacles the “carrier” label may bring, and discover why factor level alone may not dictate a woman’s need for treatment.
• 3:00 PM: Painting activity begins. Attendees will paint a fall-themed image with the help of artist, Nicole White, from Artful Nights Maine. Water, sparkling cider and soda will be provided.
  • Paint, brushes, and a canvas will be provided.
  • Please dress in clothes that you are okay getting messy. Bring an apron or smock if you choose.
• 5:00 PM: Event ends.

• This event is open only to people who identify as female and are at least 18 years old.
• Space is limited to the first 20 people who register. 
• The event is free for any 2023 NEHA member.
