On Sunday, April 2 at 4:30 PM, we are hosting a Taco Cook-Off at Foodology Cooking School in Plantsville, CT! With the help of a culinary expert, families will create a unique interpretation of both sweet and savory tacos for the judges before times run out!

Our Taco Cook-Off will also be blended with an educational session, “Rebuilding the Body With Diet.” This will help attendees understand the components of food to help balance not only a plate, but an entire day’s nutrition. The interactive presentation will also show attendees how specific patterns in diet may impact areas affected by hemophilia. A healthy diet can be fun and affordable, and help to build a strong, resilient body.

Event Details

• Apparel: Cooking may get messy! Aprons will be provided for all attendees. Closed-toed shoes must be worn, long hair must be pulled back.
• Food: After cooking the tacos, attendees will get to eat them for dinner. Coffee, tea and water are available. You can bring your non-alcoholic beverages if you’d like.
• Parking: Free parking is available. Please be sure to arrive on time.

• This event is free to all 2023 NEHA members.
• The cost for non-NEHA members is $10 per person. Become a member here.
• This event is adults and teenagers. All participants must be over the age of 14.
• Space is limited to 36 people.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration within one week of the event or do not show up for the event, you will be charged a $30 per person fee. If you are experiencing a personal or medical emergency, please contact us to discuss.
