14th Annual Unite Walk

September 30 @ 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

Each year, we host an annual Walk to celebrate the resilience, dedication and perseverance of our Wicked Strong Family! This important event also raises vital funds needed to allow our organization to continue to fulfill its mission of providing education, support and advocacy for the New England bleeding disorders community.

On Saturday, September 30, community members, families, friends, supporters, local businesses and our industry partners from all six New England states are invited to unite with us for our 14th Annual Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk at Prowse Farm in Canton, MA.

How Your Donation Makes A Difference

Your support allows us to continue our work of providing support, education and advocacy to those living with a bleeding disorder in the following ways:

  1. Family Camp – In June of 2022, 41 families from all six New England states attended our 30th Annual Family Camp. One of the hallmarks of Camp is when children with a bleeding disorder learn to administer their treatment through intravenous for the first time. This right of passage allows them to live independently without letting their condition hold them back. Because of your financial support, we are able to subsidize 93% of the cost of Family Camp. Your donations helps give this experience to others.
  2. Emergency Assistance – Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided over $60,000 to more than 125 New England families experiencing a financial hardship. Your support allows us to help those in need.
  3. Advocacy – We’ve lead efforts to protect patients by passing accumulator adjuster legislation in Connecticut and Maine, and we continue to advocate for access to care for all across all six New England states. Your generosity allows us and our needs to continue to be heard.
  4. Research – Since 2018, we’ve contributed over $100,000 to help find a cure and improved treatment options for bleeding disorders. Your gift helps us continue investing in research.
