Educational Webinar: Education for Women & Crafting Activity

October 7 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This is the seventeenth event in our Webinar Wednesday Series. Throughout this series, we will be hosting a live webinar or virtual hangout every Wednesday evening about various topics of interest and importance in our community.

About This Webinar

This webinar will be held on Wednesday, October 7 at 8 PM.

This special edition Webinar Wednesday is for females (ages 18+) with a bleeding disorder, carriers, and caregivers. The first part of the webinar will feature an interactive presentation on how women inherit hemophilia, what it means to be a carrier, and the effects on women and girls. After the discussion, attendees will create a fall-themed craft (pictured here), led by artist and community member, Josh Tezak.

Cathy Triggs-Johnson is a Social Worker for Adult/Pediatric Hematology. Josh Tezak is a Field Care Coordinator for Cottrill’s Specialty Pharmacy and works closely with the Maryland and Eastern and Western PA chapters. Ian has severe Hemophilia A and lives in Harrisburg, PA.
