Family Mini-Golf and Lunch Event
We were happy to host a family-friendly mini-golf and lunch event on Sunday, September 9! Our mini-golf event took place the day before our 29th Annual Golf Tournament at Trombetta's Farm in Marlborough, MA! During this event on Sunday, families made thank you cards for all of the golfers during this year’s tournament. Everyone also received a token for one free ice cream cone! New Families Retreat
NEHA held their inaugural New Families Retreat at the John Carver Inn in Plymouth, MA from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22, 2019. Hispanic Heritage Month Event
Each year, NEHA is proud to offer programming specific to our Hispanic community. The conference is filled with educational opportunities for community members to learn and connect with others. Bleeding Disorders Corn Maze
In the Fall of 2019, we partnered with another New England farm to host a corn maze! This year, we collaborated with Sherman Farm in East Conway, New Hampshire on a campaign to raise awareness about bleeding disorders! People from all over New England traveled to Sherman Farms to explore the maze, enjoy hayrides, pick pumpkins, and eat delicious cider donuts and ice cream! Each Fall, the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) hosts our annual meeting, called FallFest. This is a two-day event that provides educational programming for adults, teenagers (13-18 years old), youth (6–12 years old), and children (newborns–5 years old). von Willebrands Retreat
This retreat is focused solely on families living von Willebrand's Disease (VWD). Developed with community feedback, this retreat is led by professional facilitators and Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) partners. The retreat is intended to provide community members living with vWD a chance to learn, network, and ask questions in a more focused setting. Siblings are welcome to attend. Ugly Sweater Holiday Party
Our Ugly Sweater Holiday Party is an annual tradition here at NEHA! Here, families enjoy a holiday themed lunch, a visit with Santa Claus, arts and crafts and much more! All children under the age of 10 also receive a present from Santa!
