The Hemophilia Alliance of Maine (HAM) and the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA), hosted the third annual Winter Camp 2019, from February 16 - 19, 2019! With our partners, WinterKids, Winter Camp took us back to our Maine camp roots and was be held at Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, Maine. Winter Camp is a weekend of engaging, intergenerational outdoor programming that includes ice fishing and snow shoeing! The 2019 program was extremely successful. World Hemophilia Day
In recognition of World Hemophilia Day, we are co-hosting an event with Sanofi Genzyme that will include a free dinner and family friendly activities on Wednesday, April 17th, 6 PM at the UMass Club. Each family will get to take part in hands-on activities that will include team challenges related to this year's theme, Project Gratitude. Our Annual Couples' Retreat is again at the beautiful Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT on Saturday, April 27 – Sunday, April 28! The program includes a day and a half workshop led by professional facilitators. Attendees will receive a complimentary hotel room on Saturday, April 27th and meals on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Medical Marijuana Event
NEHA is excited to offer an educational event that will include a special private tour of Insa Easthampton, a cannabis (marijuana) cultivator, manufacturer and dispensary and an educational presentation by Jennifer Sacco, PharmD. The speaker will address the benefits of medical marijuana to manage pain and reduce inflammation as well as review different consumption methods available. Our annual Women's Retreat at the beautiful Guest House Retreat and Conference Center in Chester, CT is from Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th. This year we are proud to collaborate with the Connecticut Hemophilia Society on this retreat. Dads in Action & Kids Hike
Join the NEHA Dads in Action group for a kids hike on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM in Bristol, NH at Wellington State Park. The Dads in Action is open to any father with child(ren) with a bleeding disorder or any father who has a bleeding disorder themselves. BLeaders Teen Retreat 2019
NEHA is thrilled to offer our 4th Annual BLeaders Teen Retreat on August 13-14, 2019 at The Browne Center for Innovative Learning in Durham, NH.
