New England Holiday Party
New England bleeding disorder holiday parties are an annual year-end tradition! While we couldn't be together in-person this year, we were happy to spread holiday cheer virtually! Our Holiday Party was held on Saturday, December 5 alongside our friends at the Hemophilia Alliance of Maine (HAM) and the Connecticut Hemophilia Society (CHS). Ugly Sweater Holiday Cookie Extravaganza
The Gateway Hemophilia Association (GHA) and the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) partnered together to host a fun holiday themed event on Sunday, December 6. Community members from the Midwest and New England region met virtually and learned how to make a holiday cookie that is unique to each region. Each household received two special-edition aprons a $25 gift card to help purchase the supplies. This interactive event was generously supported by Octapharma. Watch The Recording Here

Friendly Feud Bleeding Disorders Game Night
On Friday, January 8 at 7 PM, we hosted a bleeding disorders’ Friendly Feud game, a spoof on the popular Family Feud game. This event allowed families to test their bleeding disorder puzzle-solving ability during a spirited, interactive event. This program was in partnership with BioMatrix.
Community Remembrance & Chat
We created Virtual Chats to allow our community members to stay connected during this public health emergency. Our first virtual chat of the year was scheduled for Sunday, January 10. After the death of blood brother and NEHA volunteer, Max Goddard, we decided to cancel this event. Virtual Paint Night for Women
On Friday, January 15, we hosted a virtual paint night for women in the New England bleeding disorders community. This interactive event was for females (ages 18+) with a bleeding disorder, carriers, and caregivers. The first part of the evening featured a mom's story about building a support network in the bleeding disorders community. Afterward, Maine artist, Nicole White, led us in painting a winter-themed scene. This event was supported by CSL Behring.
Coalition for Hemophilia B Virtual Meeting
On Saturday, January 16 from 2 PM to 6 PM, the Coalition for Hemophilia B hosted their 2021 Virtual Meeting on the Road for community members in New England, New York, and New Jersey. This event was intended to help you make connections with other families in the hemophilia B community! Activities included Kahoot Trivia, raffles and a dinner presentation. Food vouchers were provided by the Coalition.
