Push-Up-A-Thon
To recognize Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month, Mastery Martial Arts partnered with the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) to host a push-up-a-thon on Saturday, March 18. Together, across all six Mastery locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, participants did 89,538 push-ups--far surpassing their goal of 50,000 push-ups! Educational Webinar: Harness The Power Of Joy
We're hosted an interactive workshop on Sunday, March 19 to explore how to strengthen relationships through better communication and sharing in another's joy. This program was created as a follow-up to our BLeader Teen Retreat. This was developed in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, and is supported by Genentech.

Taco Cook-Off
On Sunday, April 2, we hosted a Taco Cook-Off at Foodology Cooking School in Plantsville, CT! With the help of a culinary expert, families created a unique interpretation of both sweet and savory tacos! Our Taco Cook-Off was also blended with an educational session, "Rebuilding the Body With Diet" to help attendees understand the components of food that help balance not only a plate, but an entire day’s nutrition. Fitness Challenge: Destination GO
Being physically active is one key to managing a bleeding disorder. It also helps reduce stress, strengthens connections within the community, and improves general quality of life. To help encourage physical activity within our community, the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) and the New York City Hemophilia Chapter (NYCHC) partnered to host a Fitness Challenge!
