Bourse du camp familial Anneliese Seitz-Mund
On January 9, 2018, Anneliese Seitz-Mund, a beloved member of the NEHA community passed away from sarcoma. Anneliese was a community member for many years, mother of Christian and Hillary, beloved wife of Doug, and known to many as “Mama Mund.” She was integral to the success of many NEHA events, particularly Camp familial. Her kindness, generous spirit, sense of humor, willingness to pitch in, and integrity are second to none. We are deeply grateful for the impact she had on NEHA and on so many of us. She will always be remembered and loved.
En collaboration avec la famille Mund, nous avons créé le Bourse du camp familial Anneliese Seitz-Mund to honor her memory while ensuring that any family, regardless of their financial situation, can attend NEHA’s Annual Family Camp.
Tandis que NEHA proudly subsidizes 95% of the cost of Family Camp to make it affordable for everyone to attend, the Anneliese Seitz-Mund Scholarship provides scholarships to families who would otherwise be unable to afford the remainder of the camp registration fee.
Requesting This Scholarship
For those who are accepted to attend Camp familial, more information about this scholarship will be shared in your acceptance email. Families requesting this scholarship should contact their HTC and ask them to send a letter of eligibility to NEHA stating that there is a financial barrier and that they are a good candidate to attend Family Camp. Give The Family Camp Experience To Others
This scholarship fund helps ensure every family that is accepted can attend Family Camp, regardless of their financial situation. Donations can be made year-round, by using the form below. All donations will help families who are in need of financial assistance attend our Family Camp.
The costs to send an individual or family to camp are listed below for your reference. Any amount you are able to donate will make an incredible difference.
- A Don de 125 covers the registration fee for one family to register for Family Camp.
- A Don de 300 covers the actual cost NEHA pays for one child with a bleeding disorder to attend Family Camp (lodging and food) over four days.
- A Don de 600 covers the actual cost NEHA pays for two children with a bleeding disorder to attend Family Camp (lodging and food) over four days.
- A Don de 1,200 covers the actual cost NEHA pays for a family of four to attend Family Camp (lodging and food for two children and two adults) over four days.
