Educational Dinner: Shared Decision Making
On Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 PM, we are hosting two concurrent educational dinners: one in Southern New England in Rocky Hill, CT; and one in Northern New England in Nashua, NH!
In addition to enjoying an incredible meal and dessert, attendees will also leave with a better understanding of how to partner with your care team to make treatment and management decisions. The educational presentation will be given via a nation-wide live-stream for chapters around the country.
Agenda Overview (for both locations)
- 6:30 PM: Arrive and check-in.
- 6:45 PM: Dinner is served.
- Kid friendly options will be provided.
- 7:00 PM: Educational presentation begins. Dr. Lynn Malec and a person living with hemophilia will discuss partnering with your care team to make treatment and management decisions. Learn how to feel empowered and use your values to ask questions and choose the paths that work best for you. This live, interactive broadcast includes a hands-on activity led by GutMonkey.
- Dr. Lynn Malec serves as the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders at Versiti. She is actively engaged in the care and research involving both adults and children with hemophilia and other bleeding and clotting disorders.

Southern New England

- Fiesta style with traditional Mexican fare.

- Modern American Cuisine.
- Free parking is available at the restaurant.

- NEHA strongly recommends that anyone eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine be fully vaccinated prior to attending any event.
