Educational Webinar: Spotlight on Unaffected Siblings
This was the fifteenth event in our Webinar Wednesday Series. Throughout this series, we will be hosting a live webinar or virtual hangout every Wednesday evening at 7 PM about various topics of interest and importance in our community.
About This Webinar
This webinar was held on Wednesday, September 23 at 7 PM.
Bleeding disorders affect the whole family. Providing education to unaffected siblings is an important part of the continuum of care for families with bleeding disorders. This webinar was intended for the whole family and will offer tools to help attendees feel more empowered and prepared to ensure that each child’s needs are met.
About Our Speaker
Rachel Miller Kroouze began advocating for the bleeding disorders community as part of the National Hemophilia Foundation’s National Youth Leadership Institute, and continued as a board member for the NHF. Making a career of being a CoRe Manager was a no-brainer. While Rachel has worked across disease communities, she always comes back to bleeding disorders. Not only because she lives with one, but also because the sense of camaraderie draws her in.
