NH Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month Celebration

In March, Governor Chris Sununu signed a proclamation to recognize March as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month!

On Thursday, March 16, New Hampshire patients with bleeding disorders and their families gathered to celebrate Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month at the New Hampshire State House. This was followed by dinner at the New Hampshire Pizza Company, courtesy of NEHA and NEBDAC.

About Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month

In 2016, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) officially declared March as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month! Each year, our goal is to have the governors and legislatures of each New England state issue resolutions and proclamations declaring March as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month. This special designation helps create awareness about bleeding disorders to the general public and with our elected officials.
