Charles L. Doherty Membership Giving Circle

Charles L. Doherty dedicated countless hours and energy to NEHA. As a board member, he made sure the finances were in order, the budgets and forecasts were on target, and the fundraising efforts were focused. Charlie founded the Annual NEHA Golf Tournament in 1990, and since its inception, it has raised nearly $2 million for NEHA’s programs and services.

In honor of his extraordinary service, NEHA established the Charles L. Doherty Membership Giving Circle to recognize and thank the exceptional individuals who give so much back to the community. All annual memberships at the gold level or higher are inducted, and, as a sign of our thanks, members receive a commemorative red tie lapel pin.
