Kate Bazinsky Honored with Community MVP Award

Last month, the Kraft Family and the New England Patriots Foundation recognized Kate Bazinsky as one of 26 Myra Kraft Community MVP Award recipients. As part of this recognition, the Kraft Foundation also awarded a $10,000 donation to support NEHA and advance our mission.

Kate became part of our community after her son, Colin, was diagnosed with hemophilia. From day one, she has been a powerhouse in our community—raising awareness, building community, and setting records, including leading the highest fundraising Walk Team in NEHA’s history. As a member of our Board of Directors, Kate spent four years helping to strengthen our governance and guide key initiatives. She also played a central role in the creation of the national Bleeding Disorders Substance Use & Mental Health Access Coalition (BD SUMHAC), a groundbreaking effort founded by NEHA to address critical unmet needs in our community. We are incredibly proud of Kate and deeply grateful for her passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment.
