Christa and her family have been actively engaged in the bleeding disorders community since their youngest son was diagnosed with severe hemophilia. Shortly after, Christa also learned that she has mild hemophilia. Their family was involved with HAM before joining NEHA, where they have remained active—serving as a Walk Team Captain, attending events, and participating in Family Camp, where their son earned his Big Stick last year!
With more than 20 years of experience as a licensed social worker, Christa supports families in accessing resources, coordinating services, advocating on their behalf, and collaborating with educational and community-based care teams.
