Mary and her husband live in Massachusetts and have three adult children and four grandchildren. They became connected with NEHA when their youngest grandson, Charlie, was diagnosed with hemophilia A at birth in 2024.
Mary brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare finance, having worked for Mass General Brigham (MGB) in a variety of leadership roles. She most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for the Post-Acute Division, overseeing three hospitals and 26 outpatient sites. During her tenure, she also managed the finances for the construction of a new Spaulding Hospital on Boston Harbor. In addition, Mary has spent the past four years teaching Advanced Finance and Planning for Healthcare Organizations at Harvard Medical School.
