Q. Why this weekend?

A. This event is specifically scheduled to be the same weekend as the NEHA Women’s Retreat. Dads and their kids will infuse and then take a 1.4 mile hike up Little Sugarloaf Mountain in Wellington State Park. After the hike, the group will eat lunch and swim. In the case of inclement weather, the trip will be cancelled.

Q. What is the area?

Wellington State Park boasts the largest freshwater swimming beach in the New Hampshire State Park system. Hiking trails and picnic areas along the shore afford views of one of the deepest and clearest lakes in the state. The day will conclude with a cornhole tournament. This is not a drop off event. Guardians are responsible for the care and supervision of their child(ren) for the event, including during the hike and while swimming. NEHA is working to recruit a nurse for this trip.

Q. What is the cost?

This event is free for all 2019 members! Become a member here.
