About This Webinar
This webinar helped our community learn about the genetic counseling field and get a quick refresher on some basic information related to your genes. Julia provided thought-provoking cases to help you better understand how genetic counselors help those in the bleeding disorders community. In addition, she discussed how our community can stay involved and informed as technology and therapeutics improve.
About Our Speaker
Julia Schiller is a second year student in the Boston University Genetic Counseling program. Originally from Minnesota, she completed her undergraduate degree at Drake University where she participated in both advocacy and molecular genetics research. Her interests lie in the rare disease space, with a specific focus on advocacy work.
