Educational Webinar: Team IMPACT
On Wednesday, January 26 at 7 PM, we hosted a joint webinar with Team IMPACT to explore how children and teenagers with a bleeding disorder can overcome isolation and emotional trauma in the realm of sports and physical activities. This interactive webinar gave attendees an opportunity to learn more about how you can get involved with Team IMPACT.
During this webinar, we heard from Team IMPACT participants and their families as they shared their experiences finding the true sense of belonging and camaraderie that comes with being part of a team — and the short and long term benefits that extend beyond the field. This conversation was moderated by Allison Scobie Carroll, MSW, LICSW, MBA, Senior Director of Social Work and Family Services at Boston Children’s Hospital.
